Mike Stricker
BSc QS, PMAQS-

Mike's family originates from Switzerland where he was born. His family emigrated to South Africa during his infancy and he completed his entire schooling in Johannesburg. His formal education continued at the University of Witwatersrand where he obtained a BSc QS degree in 1974. Whilst still a student, Mike joined MLC's Johannesburg office in 1971. Upon graduating Mike took a leave of absence to tackle an overland adventure the full length of the South American continent. Upon his return he continued in Johannesburg before relocating to Cape Town to establish MLC in the Mother City in 1976. He was appointed a Director in 1980 and is the only Director to have spent his entire working career with MLC.
